John Maxwell Speaker, Coach and owner of  a consulting company Robert J Claxton & Associates where he empowers people and pilot performance

Bob Claxton was born on a simple farm in Eastern Ontario Canada and at the age of 18 was decided to enter the Ministry. Over three decades he embarked on a journey of helping people. In 2010 while away he arrived home to discover that his wife had left him and she filed for a divorce. This event started a domino effect that resulted in him leaving his church, the ministry and finding him looking for a new career and indescribable pain. Clinging to his faith, and walking with trusted friends, Bob was able to maneuver through the deepest, darkest moments to emerge a stronger man of God. It was in this painful journey that Bob discovered the Deeper Path.

In 2011, after retiring from serving the Alliance church for nearly 30 years, he started his own consulting company, “Robert J. Claxton & Associates Inc” specializing helping businesses in “Empowering People and Piloting Performance.”

He is an independent certified coach, trainer and speaker with the John Maxwell Team. He has been a mentor and coach for 20 years in teaching thousands of people how to live the golden rule (or as we call it the four-way test). He has served in many national and provincial roles with his denomination as well as assisting new student ministers with practical field education in their University in Calgary.

Every one has one thing in common – pain.  Every one gets to choose what he or she does with that pain.  Every one must enter that pain to reach their full potential.
