Call in to speak with the host

Join us on Monday, May 31, 2010 at 6 pm Eastern time for a conversation about the growing movement to put “time for healing” on the Black community’s agenda. Our guest will be Sheila Warren, founder of People Celebrating People and local coordinator of the celebration of Community Healing Days in Portland, Oregon, widely described as the “whitest big city in America.” We’ll be talking about how the annual celebration of Community Healing Days can energize the movement for emotional emancipation for Black people the way that the celebration of Earth Day helped to build the global movement to save the environment.
