Freedom’s Gate: Rebecca L. Mahan on American domestic violence

Freedom's Gate welcomes Rebecca L. Mahan, a U.S. Marine veteran and law enforcement official will be discussing her solutions to dealing with domestic violence a nightmare that touches nearly every household in America and many of its victims can be as old as 85 and as young as a new born. One out of three women will become a victim of abuse and in far too many cases the abuser is a member of the victim’s own family.  

In America, according to the National Violence Organization,  every 9 seconds a woman is assaulted or beaten. In fact each day nearly 3 women are murdered by their boyfriend or husband. One out of three women will become a victim of abuse and in far too many cases the abuser is a member of the victim’s own family.
