ARIEL KLIGERMAN – University Student & Youth Volunteer,
Thi sweek Antoine talks with Ariel Kligerman
Understand why as a Gen Y decided to differ her career to help others in need as a volunteer at orphanages
Ariel, Gen-Y, graduated from the Waldorf School in 2013. While there, she had the opportunity to volunteer with at-risk youth in Toronto schools. She also developed a love of travel through family and school trips, visiting Switzerland, Peru, Italy, Denmark, France, and England. Wanting to gain some experience, as well as feed her travel bug, she deferred her acceptance to the School of social work at McMaster University to spend 8 months volunteering at orphanages in Ghana, India, and Vietnam. She keeps a blog about her experience, which you can read here: http://arielstravels.tumblr.com
