We also note the memorial of St. Teresa Benedicta of the Cross, aka Edith Stein, and commemorate two tragedies that took place on August 9: the resignation of Richard Nixon as U.S. President and the death of Grateful Dead guitarist Jerry Garcia.

Donna Freitas, religion professor at Boston University, visited college students at public, private, evangelical, and Catholic colleges to find out how.
