Our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy have changed. We think you'll like them better this way.
When some people (mostly men, sorry but it's true) hear the term "women's rights", it conjures up images of plain, saggy breasted women gathered around piles of burning bras holding protest signs bearing feminist slogans.
But what do we really mean by "women's rights"? What are women REALLY fighting for?
Many of us are fighting for the right to control our own healthcare, but the US Supreme Court recently made a ruling that could effectively take away one of the choices women now view as their inalienable right, the right to choose their own method of birth control, and place that right in the hands of an employer who will then make that choice for them based on their personal religious beliefs.
Should a corporate entity be able to impose their personal religious beliefs on their employees?
How can a business have religious beliefs?
Should employers have a say in the health care choices of their employees based on religious beliefs?
In this show we take an in depth look at the Supreme Court's decision in the Hobby Lobby case, and what it means for women's rights in America.
Show starts Wednesday 16th July at 4:30 EDT - 9:30pm BST. All shows are archived so feel free to listen whenever you can.
