Betty new release "Bright and Dark"

    High Line Ball Room

    Sept. 24th 2009

New Release performance "Betty- Bright and Dark"

Making their New York Debut as the opening act For the handsomely harmonic  cult rock pop "BETTY" new release "Bright and Dark". French import "Anatomie Bousculaire" burst onto the stage of the High Line Ballroom with a rock grunge joi de vive and energy that was a awesome to behold. Their passion for performing kept the audience out of their seats and closer to the stage their entire set. Be on the positive look out for these Ladies of rock who  make it all new again, even if it is sometimes in a foreign language . A special thanks to France, First the Statue of liberty and now "Anatomie Bousculaire".

The evening got even better as vivacious ladies "Betty" entered the stage. Shrouded in the dark, hardly seen, the crowd surged forward, fan energy was obvious as thunderous applause  broke out in waves across the crowd. No note yet played the roar was deafening. With the release of their new CD "Bright and Dark". Their opening song says it all. "It's just Love" Betty makes every one of their songs naughty and nice simultaneously. Another favorite was "Did you tell her?" musically layered, hypnotic and sinfully delicious. The whole evening was a musical delight.  If the audience were out of their seats from the first act, it was now a ghost town of tables from where I sat. The fans couldn't get close enough to their musical favorites. "Betty" is more than a just a band, it’s a fusion of rock, harmonics musical skills, comedy and entertainment.  Complemented by the multi-talented musically magical guitarist Tony Salvatore and dynamic drummer  Mino Gori. Where ever I see them Betty never disappoints. If I sound like a fan it's  because I am or "Is it just love". Now and forever Betty Still Rules!
