Sistas,.....they call it everything from having an "improper relationship" to having an "undercover lover", to having a "freak on the side", to having an outside sexual arrangement. But no matter what it's called, if a committed man is involved in any one of these situations, it only boils down to one thing-- "HE'S CHEATING!!!!! And one thing for certain,..... men are doing it now more than ever.

It has been estimated that nearly 75 percent of married men, or men involved in serious relationships, cheat. Sadly ladies, this means three men out of every four practice infidelity, if you sistas can stand the truth. And what's even more disturbing is the sudden collapse of the seven-year itch, (the once-thought to be length of time it would normally take for a man to give into sexual temptation, and cheat on his wife). Studies show that most men who cheat today, are doing it within the first three, to five years of a relationship. Newspaper classifieds are now clustered with personals that read: "MBM (Married Black Male) in search of a NSA (No Strings-Attached) relationship. What's going on here? Why the recent surge in male infidelity? No, No, No,...Not because all men are dogs, only some are, but not all. It can be attributed to many factors, but perhaps the most common reason men are cheating at an alarming rate is because it's easier than ever before. Long gone are the days when a man, and his mistress communicated by calling each other's home, letting the telephone ring once and hanging up. With today's technological advances such as, I-phones, cell phones, voice mail and yes,....the Internet, a Brotha with a cheating heart can entertain a side relationship without much fear of getting caught, virtually staying in touch with the other woman 24/7 without his woman ever having a clue. Add to that, the increased daily contact between men and women, (especially in the work place) according to statistics, Women are on the job in record numbers, occupying every position from being CEO's, secretaries, down to manufacturing laborers. This reality puts men and women in direct contact with one another on a daily basis. In the morning, they board crowded buses and trains together, and for eight long hours they work in cramped office spaces, brushing up against one another by accident, and by choice ... A cordial invitation to have a quick lunch passionately erupts into an indecent proposal to have a quickie for lunch. Even men who were at one time scared of getting caught, have turned into bold, and clever cheaters. Why committed men cheat,.....the reasons are far greater, and I feel more women should be made aware. Beware of dogs, beware of evil workers, beware of the concision. (Philippians 3:2).
