My favorite book by Robert Heinlein, "Stranger in a Strange Land," (a title I relate to ALL too well, btw ~_^) explains that sharing water in any form can be symbolic of the willingness to connect. As coffee is by far the best use of water ^_^, I consider it tangible friendship...
