Call in to speak with the host
"What's on Your Mind?"
Hi Coffee Party! Join Jordan Hahn, guest hosting tonight on Speaking of America from 8 pm to 10 pm Pacific Time. Tonight: What if all candidates who were on enough ballots to win 270 electoral college votes were included in the debates? Would the conversation change? If so, how?
The Commission on Presidential Debates (CPD) was formed by the Democrats and Republicans in 1987 to, in their own words, "provide the best possible information to viewers and listeners," however it has recently come to light that the CPD creates secret contracts between the candidates to limit their interaction, control the topics, and exclude other party candidates. Do the major parties provide the “best possible information?” Tonight, we’d like to discuss how this system is controlling the conversation in our country, its pro’s and con’s, and how you think we can improve upon the debates themselves. Tune in at 11PM EDT/8PM PDT to share your thoughts on the process.
Speak up America. Listen in and voice your opinion.
It's good to talk.
