A week ago I attended a speech by President Obama in the mountains above Denver, CO. International affairs were not at the forefront of the mind's of most of the people I spoke with, but so often the Presidents we elect play a crucial role in responding to global crisis and setting the tone of our international diplomacy. So, how do we become informed citizens when it comes to political issues on a global scale?
On today's show, one of the people I met at the rally, Halo Jobson, a single dad, is joining us to discuss how he views his place as a citizen of the world, and how he is passing that on to his two young boys. You'll also get to hear snips from many of the others I interviewed, and we'll discuss other issues dominating the campaign.
