This is a topic that's been coming up lately - getting back to basics when it comes to marketing. It's so easy to set aside what works and start chasing BSO's (Bright Shiny Objects).

I was working with someone earlier this week on their marketing strategy and talking about their 'call to action' (your call to action is your standard offer that you drive everyone to, a free analysis or consultation perhaps)and what they could use for their call to action.

In discussing what has worked in the past it turns out they already had something in place but it had fallen off the radar.

This really is a common problem, I do it too if I'm not careful! Fortunately, there's also a common solution and that is to have a strategy in place and to follow that strategy.
