    GETTING TO THE CORE OF CONFIDENCE


    Well folks, I am back with a new season of Coach K! Talk Radio Show for Women! Last night I started my 3rd season on an inspiring and empowering note with my guest Dr. Valencia Ray.

    Valencia Ray MD, President and owner of Core Confidence Consulting, brings a practical yet powerful approach to the services she offers. She is a dynamic and inspiring speaker, author and mindset coach who has a unique ability to translate and synthesize information from cutting-edge science and personal development, into an easy to understand and user- friendly format for the general public.

    As a professional certified NLP coach, she specializes in helping professional women who are seeking to eliminate mental stress, successfully navigate transitions and purposefully create a life they love.

    During my discuss with Dr. Ray, she explained the influences self esteem has on confidence, and more importantly, she explained why having Core Confidence cannot not only heighten an individuals chance of success, but actually reverse many long held negative self beliefs.

    According to Dr. Ray, the Core, as it relates to confidence is the spiritual aspect of the self. It is our Divine nature that is aligned with the Source of all life. Our Divinity which is within this core, holds the truth of who we really are and that truth is that we are actually spiritual beings having a human experience. Once individual is able to reach their core either through scientific/therapeutic methods such as NLP (Neuro-linguistic programming) or meditation, the confidence naturally rises. Confidence that arise from the Divine state of who we really are gives a person a sense of meaning, passion, purpose that is far more fulfilling than building a sense of confidence from the things that we do or the accomplishments that we have achieved. Core Confidence is a sense of 'being-ness' not merely a measure of status.
