If you study the topic seriously tithing is not a New Testament doctrine. I’ve studied for the last 4 years the subject and have come to the same conclusion. The scriptures never teach that you give MONEY and you get MONEY. This is a man made doctrine. Tithing was an Old Testament practice (and not even that much) that was done with FOOD not money. There was money available and use widely to purchase many things (many Pastors will say different to keep you bound by the doctrine), however
