I am often asked, “Coach Kidane, why did you become a life coach?”
Honestly I didn't know that I was serving as a life coach during those early years of my career. I was simply helping people who came to me for advise, guidance, and resources. In fact, I had the raw talent but I was doing much of the coaching techniques wrong. I learned after I started taking clients that I can join an industry called life coaching. I remember on the first day of class I told the professor, “How do you convince people that they are getting ready to mess up their life?" She calmly told me, “You don't, that’s not your job as a life coach.” I knew then that I had it all wrong and I had a lot to learn. I went through the program and ended up being one of the top students of my class. I caught on to the process and realized that this was a powerful tool to change lives, when done correctly. I now own a life coaching firm, Genesis International Consulting Firm, LLC with a team of coaches, Team Genesis Coaching Group, a life coaching certification school, Genesis Life Coaching Institute, and a private practice of clients. I am living out my life dream. It comes with a large sacrifice but the journey has been worth every moment. Needless to say in a time when so many of my fellow Americans are getting laid off, I am proud to be in a position where I can employ others, contribute to the economy, and self-sustain myself and others. Don’t you think it’s time for YOU to choose the coaching industry? When you make yourself your own company, you are able to employ yourself as your own money-making brand. McDonalds, Gap, Coke, and Oprah are all their own companies. They use their brand to not only employ themselves but others. Put yourself in their shoes and imagine if you had people dedicated to researching ways to market your vision and brand to the world. The coaching industry allows you to employ yourself as a coach, speaker, writer/author, and trainer in an area you are gifted in. If you want to know more about how you can become a life coach, email me at genesislifecoachinginstitute@gmail.com. Warm Regards, Coach Kidane
