Remember your first love, the moment you met the man who would become your husband or the woman who would become your wife? That's when you knew you were hooked and life would never be the same. God wants us to love Him even more than we love our spouse and children. He reminds us that he is jealous because He does not want us to forget and put something or someone before Him. Just like we remember those special times with that special person, He wants us neve to forget the miment we gave our heart to Him, those special times with Him, the times He came through when no one else could or would. Remember that special song the two of you had? God wants you to sing Him praise songs, and tell Him how much you really love Him. After all the things God has already done for us, we should praise Him. Do we treat God like we do our spouse and children, sometimes taking them for granted, and forget to tell them we love them and appreciate them? Today, we want to change that by keeping a journal of all the things God does for us daily.
As we move forward in our prayer life, we want to begin to worship God and praise Him for what He has already done, ask His blessings on those who lack the faith to pray, and witness the power of God in operation. We are growing up in God through Christ Jesus and our situations are in the Master's Hand and it is well, in Jesus name, Amen!
