A New Respect: Our current culture seems to be endlessly infatuated with celebrities who obviously have no concern to maintain a good reputation. They air their dirty laundry in the public to a degree that would have been stonishing a generation ago. A reputation of selfishness, arrogance, nonaccountability, and general naughtiness has been acceptable over morality and wholesomeness.
