Baldwin, MD – The foods we eat become who we are. When we eat unhealthy foods, it doesn’t just alter our health, it significantly influences the quality and experience of life.
According to life and health coach Helene Leeds, in order to improve our lives we have to break this cycle of self-sabotage. Leeds is the founder of Helene’s Kitchen, a platform for transformation, offering health tips, recipes and inspiration.
“I love to create things that taste delicious,” says Leeds. “For me eating healthy is not about deprivation or suppression, it’s about celebrating abundance and discovering new optimizing options.”
While food is the main focus of Helene’s Kitchen’s blog, her primary focus is on coaching. Leeds challenges her clients to live consciously by Mastering Life’s Ingredients.
“I call Helene’s Kitchen a platform for transformation because it’s all about being mindful of what your innate needs are,” says Leeds. “When you live your life intentionally, as a cause, not an effect, it creates a total transformation.”
Leeds herself transformed her health and life through this same approach to mindful living. She holds a master’s degree in nutrition and has traveled the world extensively studying food as medicine. Most recently, Leeds was featured among the final 18 contestants on Season 3 of MasterChef hosted by Gordon Ramsay.
Leeds describes her clients as successful, brilliant, busy women. As a life and health coach, Leeds guides her clients to create mindfulness about their choices to achieve what they desire in life.
I want to touch even more people’s lives with this message of getting back to themselves and reconnecting,” says Leeds. “There’s a readiness in the culture for this message to connect and awaken.”
