Zara Snapp began her formal collective leadership work several years ago while serving as a youth community coach at Mi Casa Resource Center in Denver, Colorado. In the years since she has lived and worked in several countries abroad, including Mexico. This past spring, she completed the Women and Public Policy Program at Harvard University's Kennedy School of Government and is currently a program officer at the National Democratic Institute in Washington, D.C. In her current role, she is part of the Latin America leadership team. Ms. Snapp will address how her collective leadership experiences domestically have connected with her work abroad as well as what she's learned and observed about community leadership in emerging democracies around the world.
