Collective Approaches to Program Evaluation

Evaluation should be an essential component of any community change initiative. Traditional evaluation practices, however, sometimes pit those pursuing an initiative against those who are evaluating it. In this episode of CL Exchange OnAir, we are joined by Dr. Matthew Militello, assistant professor in the Leadership, Policy and Adult Higher Education department of North Carolina State University. His collaborative, participatory approach to evaluation is helping organizations change their perspective on evaluation while also engaging program participants in ways that open new opportunities.
