The pursuit of change in communities often involves some degree of chaos. Unbridled chaos can have unfortunate consequences. In her new book: Engaging Emergence: Turning Upheaval into Opportunity, author Peggy Holman asserts that while chaos may indeed be a naturally occurring part of the change process, there are ways to work with it so that order arises out of it. In this episode of CL-Exchange OnAir, Holman will discuss a variety of strategies community change agents can use to make sense out of chaos, thus learning to engage emergence.
