Letters to My Father: Dr.O. Raye Adkins, Ed.D

Today's guest Dr.O. Raye Adkins, Ed.D, is an award-winning former public school principal turned nonprofit executive, expert on caring for children facing loss and poverty, and author of the new book Letters To My Father: The Gifts. Dr. Adkins worked more than 32 years in San Antonio area public schools as a teacher, administrator and elementary school principal. She earned her doctoral degree in Educational Leadership from Texas A&M University, and holds a master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction and a bachelor's degree in English and Speech. She has completed professional training to be recognized as a Teacher Expectation and Student Achievement Trainer.
