Cincinnati Business Talk highlights the positive side of Cincinnati area businesses. We will be talking to CEOs who have won awards, innovated with new products and services.

Today's show will feature Alfonso Cornejo, President of the Hispanic Chamber.  He is an ex-P&G employee.  

Mr. Cornejo is in the board of Directors of: The Freedom Center, United Way, ArtsWave, NKITA (the Northern Kentucky International Trade Association) and member of the Agenda 360 Regional initiative. Mr. Cornejo has been recognized by many organizations.  As examples; the state of Ohio awarded him as a distinguish Hispanic Ohioan.  He has received awards from United Way, LULAC, The National Society of Hispanic MBA’s (NSHMBA) and the Government of Mexico among many others. 

Mr. Cornejo has been the President of the Hispanic Chamber Cincinnati USA for the last 8 years and he has been instrumental in raising this chamber to be the largest and most successful Hispanic chamber in the states of Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana.

Mr. Cornejo is also founder of Hispanics Avanzando Hispanics (HAH) that is a non-for profit entity that organizes the Cincy-Cinco Latino charity festival each year in Cincinnati.  This organization also coordinates the activities during Hispanic Heritage Month, the printing and distribution of the anti-bulling booklet Cincinnati: A City of Immigrants as well as the H-100 Hispanic volunteering efforts.
