It Pays To Serve The Lord   Matt. 20: 1-16

Eric Rogers, Ph.D., Pastor-Teacher of the Church Without Walls Chicago shares the gospel message " It Pays To Serve The Lord).

In an age and stage in life and human history, Christians (those who have been born again and washed in the blood of the Lamb) often wonder and reflect on whether it really does pay to serve God.  When peace seems unobtainable, joy inaccessible, injustice unstoppable and the rise and decline of marriages, families, relationships and the desire to live life and life more abundantly, there is a cry for hope, help and healing among God's people to know that God is still in control.

The God we serve has promised that we shall wear a crown.  We shall run and not get weary and walk and not faint. In it all and through it all, we are called upon to run this race with patience and to lay aside every weight that so easily besets us. We must look unto Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith (and not reality t.v., talk shows, social media, the world, etc.)

After all our light afflictions are only for a moment but they worketh for us a greater eternal weight in glory. We do not look at the things which are seen (for they are only temporary) but we look to those things which are not seen, for they are eternal.

God is worthy to be praised and we are to finish our course.  God will receive the glory and we will receive the victory.

It really does pay to serve the Lord.  Because he shall and he will wipe away all tears from our eyes and there will be no more suffering, no more pain, no more sorrow, no more crying and dying.

Praise God !
