Activism & The Church: Are We Really Changing The World?

Today we will be discussing Activism and the Church. The Church used to organize "Sit In's"...but has the modern church "Sat Down"? What is the role of the church in fighting the social ills of the day?  How can sex-trafficking and poverty exist in cities that have churches on every corner? Are actual congregants a force of change and activism in their communities and professions; or are they leaving that to their pastor? Is the church changing the world? Or has the world changed the church?
