Shake Shake Shake Your Booty!

Is it possible that KC & The Sunshine Band were given a glimpse into the day and hour of the American church that we are in now?  Is it possible that God gave them a prophetic view into the "modus operandi" most organizations would turn to in order to the booty (money) from the members?

Don't get me wrong, giving is definitely a part of our Christian duty, as we give into the lives of our brothers and sisters as the Holy Spirit moves upon to give. However, the methods in which many are using today to get money from members has to be examined.

A highly "charged" service with a charismatic preacher seems to be the common tactic used in most conventions and conferences, as the speaker is able to tap into the emotional depths of the hearer!  Once that area is tapped into, BAM!!!  The music starts, the shouting and rejoicing begins, and the "prophetic lyrics" of KC & The Sunshine Band begins:

"Everybody, get on the floor and let's dance
Don't fight your feelings, give yourself a chance
Shake shake shake, shake shake shake
Shake your booty

Oh, shake shake shake, shake shake shake

Your physical "booty" matters not, it's the "booty" in your purses and wallets that is wanted!

And just think, instead of allllllllllllllllllllllll this "hoopla", if you would just politely ask, you may have gotten more!
