Don't you wish, sometimes, to have a delete button somewhere in your head so that you can get rid of many painful, almost traumatic memories? But then, those memories are a fundamental part of who we are today, for good or for bad. We learn from them, we grow from them, we become better (or worse) because of them. I cherish my memories, even as they hurt, because in this case, they open wounds that were supposed to be healed by now.
