In this passage, King Saul makes an utterly ridiculous vow that encompassed the entire nation. No one was to eat food until the enemies were destroyed, but the troops became very weak without needed sustenance. Then the king made a further vow that would have resulted in his son being killed except the people could not stand by and watch the king follow through with his utter foolishness.
1 Samuel 14:24-27New King James Version (NKJV)
Saul’s Rash Oath
24 And the men of Israel were distressed that day, for Saul had placed the people under oath, saying, “Cursed is the man who eats any food until evening, before I have taken vengeance on my enemies.” So none of the people tasted food. 25 Now all the people of the land came to a forest; and there was honey on the ground. 26 And when the people had come into the woods, there was the honey, dripping; but no one put his hand to his mouth, for the people feared the oath. 27 But Jonathan had not heard his father charge the people with the oath; therefore he stretched out the end of the rod that wasin his hand and dipped it in a honeycomb, and put his hand to his mouth; and his countenance brightened.

The Audible Bible by Pastor Michel, Dominique is designed to keep the word of God alive in the hearing of believers as well as unbelievers. All scripture reading are directly from the Holman Christian Standard Bible. The goal is that people all over the world can hear the word where ever there is access to a mobile phone or computer. There may not be access to a television or a people may not be able to read English; however, the Audible Bible will make it easier to hear the word. 2 Peter 1:19-21 state, "We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shine in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:20 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. 21 for the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Ghost." The subject of sex as far as church instruction is a topic that most congregations seem to avoid at all costs.
It just makes too many uncomfortable because the old schoolway of going about things was that if you wanted sex then you got married.
Well even though most churches will stick to their guns as far as claiming to uphold this philosophy, but it's about as respected as resisting the temptation to jaywalk in a huge overpopulated city where people move about as they choose.
So am I saying that everyone in the church is getting their groove on regardless to their marital status?
It's sad to say that nothing couldn't be more true.
While there hasn't been a survey conducted on this issue, to do one would be a waste of time because not many women who claim to live the life of a Christian would admit to even having a regular sex life.
There is no way around the commandments of God but many find away to tip toe around it while existing in a secret world ruled by denialand lust.
But Christian Women get aroused too so is it fair for them to not give in to the feeling if it brings them a sense of deep satisfaction too?
The bottom line is that one shouldn't profess a life that they cannot really life up to but if they are going to date a man and need advice to stay strong to avoid crossing the line, then they would lost certainly be needing to attend this weeks show which will remind them not to make these 10 most common mistakes in Christian Dating.
Author Julia Butler & LanceScurv will be approaching this subject very intensely and invite all who want to attend to join in the discussion with us.
Award Winning Artist & Teacher Carl Childs will teach on the Principles of Being a Christian. "It is imperative that we get every household possible in order." "We can definitely expect Jesus to return to our world soon!" "Right now we live in the best season to accept Christ for the first time or recommit to HIM again to get out of a backslide condition."
Matthew 24:14-15 (KJV) 14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come. 15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, whoso readeth, let him understand.
Matthew 24:42-51 (KJV) 42 Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come. 43 But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up. 44 Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.
45 Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season? 46 Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing. 47 Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods. 48 But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming;
49 And shall begin to smite his fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken; 50 The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of, 51 And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

For God So Loved the World
16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.
17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.
Do not be deceived, God is not mocked. For whatever a man sows, this he will also reap.
The wrath (eternal judgement) of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of people, who suppress the truth by their wickedness.
But because you are stubborn and refuse to turn from your sin, you are storing up terrible punishment for yourself. For a day of anger is coming, when God's righteous judgment (wrath) will be revealed.
But for those who are self-seeking and who reject the truth and follow evil, there will be wrath (eternal judgement) and anger.
He will take revenge on those who refuse to acknowledge God and on those who refuse to respond to the Good News about our Lord Jesus.
2 Thessalonians 1:8
A holy day set apart each week for rest and worship. After God created all things, he rested on the seventh day and commanded that one day each week be a day of rest to help people remember him (Ex. 20:8–11).
The Sabbath reminds people of their need for spiritual nourishment and of their duty to obey God. When a nation grows careless in observing the Sabbath, all aspects of life are affected and its religious life becomes decayed (Neh. 13:15–18; Jer. 17:21–27).
God rested on the seventh day:Gen. 2:1–3;
35In the early morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house, and went away to a secluded place, and was praying there. 36Simon and his companions searched for Him Mark 1:35-36
