Join us this week on Christian Devotions SPEAK UP! as host Scott McCausey highlights an upcoming concert at Rock Lake Christian Assembly with two musicians, Andy Avery and Nolan McCausey.

Andy has led a very interesting life, singing in rock and roll bands like Journey, Head East, and Smoke House. He’s also opened for Kiss, Bon Jovi, and many others. But according to Andy, the best time of his life followed his pledge to Christ when he started using his singing gifts to advance the kingdom.

If you have heard Lee Greenwood sing "God Bless the USA," you have heard Andy Avery. He sang the demo for the song that resulted in the record company signing Greenwood. Andy now travels the country, performing and leading worship for one purpose only: GOD. Andy’s latest adventure is "A Tribute to Journey" tour, as he is the former lead singer of that group.

Nolan is a Great Lakes Christian College student who is set to begin his junior year this fall. He’s shared his God given talents to electrify the keys for the last ten years in both churches as well as the band he’s been performing with from the inception of the group Resident Truth.

Resident Truth is a Christ centered band playing a mix of classic southern rock and blues. Their music can be heard in coffee houses, churches and big outdoor venues such as Rock the Lake in Vestaburg Michigan.
