Matt and Angela Kuncaitis were your fairly typical homeschool family living on a hobby farm in the rural Midwest...but on October 15, 2008 all that changed. They sold their home and purchased a 40-acre Amish farm with 9+ outbuildings, a pond, and more. All 8 of them. At first glance, this may not seem out of the ordinary, but there is so much more to the story.  Their old farm is also “off-grid,” meaning they have no electricity. Imagine your life without all the modern day conveniences: no washing machine, no refrigerator, no running water for your sink or hot shower, NO TELEVISION!
