Relationship Readiness

The divorce rate is dropping according to recent studies and fewer people are getting married. This is exactly how it needs to be in my opinion. Marriage has been trivialized for so long in this country and it's time for it to stop.
I find it very disturbing that a college professor won't even teach you without you first meeting a basic I.Q. requirement, yet we allow anyone to get married.
Why are people getting married when they're obviously not ready anyway? There are loads of reasons... aweful reasons why they're doing it. They do it for money, status, preassure, sex, comfort, etc. Many of these people are not aware of them selves, are too immature to even be dating anyone seriously at all or suffer from mental issues that they have not properly addressed and therefore, the divorce rate is what it is today.
