I love the scriptures!!!
We are in trouble if evil is our intent. Is that a surprise? I did not think so, but the scriptures do make it clear that such is the case. Life is challenging enough without bringing on more difficulties I would say. Lets see what the scriptures say. : )
Sydney Rigdon is told that miracles will be performed by those who ask in the name of Christ. I believe that we have fallen very short of receiving all of the blessings that we are able to receive from heaven and I look forward to these truths being brought about in greater abundance.
Enoch heard the earth moan for the wickedness of mankind. Referred to as a mother it was acceptable to state her personal feelings about these things. Unconditional love does not seem to include denying the consequences of choices of wickedness on the part of her offspring. I believe mothers and fathers will find comfort in this.
I also believe Enoch's heart rendering prayer on behalf of all of mankind is something that we need to recognize as an attitude that we need to have. We need to pray for one another.
