I love the scriptures!!!
The Lord's description of the passover preparation, meal, and even the clean up instructions may hold some significant clues to us about the atonement and maybe even about our Heavenly Father as we look at the symbolism that we find in these most particular directives of the Lord. I wonder also if there is not some clues as to what our attitude needs to be like on a daily basis as we prepare for and look forward to the Lord's return.
The man that the Savior healed of leprosy did not obey his words and created issues for Christ's ministry there. Do we ever do that? Do we, thinking we are doing a good thing or just out of excitement and all make the teaching of the gospel a little more challenging?
Reading the scriptures can open up the mind to many questions. And if we are to be free people, capable of making our own decisions, then we need to not fear the questions, nor discount our ability to receive answers to them. They may need to set on the back burner for a while but that is okay because it can take time for us to be ready to hear the still small voice of the Holy Spirit but, if we are faithful, we shall.
