Joseph assures his brothers of his forgiveness after the death of Jacob and has his children promise to take his bones out of Egypt when they are delivered by God in the future.

Can you imagine being close enough to God that you know how he will deal with your children 400 years into the future? The depth of the character of this man is absolutely remarkable to me!

Christ speaks of preparation and living in the moment for we not when he shall return. Then the powerful parable of the ten virgins. Are you ready for his coming? Only you can do that. Who do you need to forgive? Have you accepted of his love and atonement? Does it cause your heart to burn with desire to serve others? Do you seek his will in all you do and plead his mercy for yourself and those who offend you? The time is now. The choice is yours.
