I love the scriptures!!!

God is our Eternal Father and as we desire to become like him we might consider how he uses words and the impact and importance they carry. We read of God's word and how it is to be honored and will be fulfilled completely. We may wish to consider how our words are used and if they lift us and others.

Verse 21 and others speak of how he knows us so intimately and how he prepared from before the world began a place of rest and joy for those who follow him. And yes, there is a place for those who reject his love as well.

Did you know that God knew there would be bullies and that life would be tough here on earth? Verse 18 speaks of the crosses of the world and I believe these concepts are what is being talked about.

Verse 25 speaks about the law. This is a concept that is deep and important to get a sense of and may take a life time to truly understand but until the law is able to be grasped grace and mercy has its place through the atonement of Jesus Christ.

Another concept spoken of here is perfection. Having perfect faith in the Holy One of Israel. Unlike mans idea of perfect which is a given, static state, God's meaning for perfect is an attitude and character and state of mind and heart that recognizes him and is humble and willing to receive his guidance.

Till we meet again, remember God loves you, please love yourself and one another. Gramma Ann
