I love the scriptures!!! Our forefather, Nephi, writes with his heart and soul bare before us as he speaks of the witness from God that he had of the tragedy that would befall Jerusalem and how he feels knowing that had he not heeded the promptings of the Spirit he, too, would have perished. He spoke of reading the words of Moses with his family and the words of Isaiah he shares with us. Chapter 20 verse 5 stuck me with particular singularity as I felt the use of Isaiah's words testifying of the unity of mankind and how God is not a respecter of people and how he sees us all as one, because we are just that through the Atonement of Jesus Christ and the love of God, The Father.
Doctrine and Covenants 20 testifies that Christ will direct us in the very particulars of our lives if we will seek his influence and listen to the Holy Ghost.
Adam and Eve blessed the name of God and made all things known unto their children. This is exactly what we are to be doing in a nutshell. May it so be, IJN, Amen.
