I love the scriptures!!! Well, they got the ship built! AND they all got on board. I think this is huge, it means they had faith they would get to wherever they were going, all of them, Laman and Lemuel too. They know that they have been led by God up to this point and what do they do? Opps, they forget. We do that too do we not? We forget "by what power 'we' have been brought thither,..." Our sacrament prayers in Moroni 4:3 and 5:2 have something of the term remember twice in each. To remember how we got here and by what power seems to be in each of the readings we did today. We see the powerful awareness of who he is demonstrated by Christ in Doctrine and Covenants 19:1-3. I love the phrase "having finished the will of him whose I am", it just defines the Savior to me and the reason I follow him. Likewise in Moses 5:6 when asked why he offered sacrifice Adam said he did not know but the Lord commanded it so he obeyed. I hope that I will prove as faithful one step at a time. Another concept discussed today is that Nephi's challenges were there for God's glory or in other words that God's glory or work might be seen as he was delivered by God's hand. Now, how many of us look at our challenges that way? I wonder what miracles might occur in our lives if we did?
