I love the Scriptures!!! Review: Moses 2:16 I did read the scripture from Moses in error. I was two chapters behind but that is ok. It is all scripture and it is all good. It was on God giving us the two lights, the lesser one for night and the greater light to rule the day. Think of the imagery of those words. The sun, does it not truly rule the day? Does it not dictate what happens or where we are when we are in the elements? And how does it rule, simply by being I guess. Then logical use of self preservation causes us to seek shelter as night falls. I like to look a bit beyond the bare basics and consider what is being shared by the Lord in the way that he has the scriptures recorded. If we do not take an active role in discerning the meaning of the scriptures then we have really not discovered the wonderful meaning of communication we may even be missing out on a bit of being alive. Doctrine and Covenants spoke to those who have the desire to be a witness of the gospel plan and who we should be as we share that, full of love, having faith, hope, and charity, being humble and temperate in all things. I know that for me, I feel the need to bear witness of the truthfulness of the word of God in no uncertain terms. I know it to be living and breathing and vibrant in the reality that we live in day by day and I will seek for ways to share it so long as I may live. These words in the scriptures are ripe with fruit to quench the thirst of those looking for righteousness and a sure way. Of this I bear witness, in Jesus name, Amen.
