I love the scriptures!!! Review: Isaac reopened three of Abraham's wells before he found a place where he was able to live without conflict with his neighbors. Do you ever feel like you just do not have a place where you can settle and feel good about things? I have. I did this show with a child in the room and I want to restate that the scriptures are to be shared with them. Do not worry that they do not understand. They are eternal beings and while they may not be able to communicate to you what they know in their deepest core the truth is there and they will remember and bless you for it. It may not be in this part of existence but they will. Just as we are all blessed through Abraham. These are promises from God my friends, they are not promises from me. Let us remember that as we are faithful to our covenants and promises that our posterity after us will be blessed. Matthew speaks of Christ saying that the gathering to the kingdom of heaven is like fishing with a big net...many are gathered in and then the sorting time happens and those that are useful and good for us are kept and those that are not good are thrown aside. We are truly gathered into the gospel and given opportunity to chose the way of Christ by following the Spirit. Some of us will still choose to go our own way and that is ok even if it is not the greatest gift we can receive. Can you imagine though sitting on the shore watching a big party of people taking off on a cruise with so many fun things to do and you know you are the one who kept yourself off the trip? I think that is where some of the gnashing of teeth comes from. Christ also says we are all treasures to God whether we come in soon or late in life or in the time of mankind. We all are precious, even though we are different. Maybe you could write down what you thought of as you read these verses and keep a scripture journal. Then read it some time and see how you have grown. Till next time, blessings, Christa-Ann
