Lisa has been a student of Mindfulness Meditation for ten years. She studied with Andrew Weiss, the author of "Beginning Mindfulness, Learning the Way of Awareness" for over 6 years and assisted Andrew with classes. Lisa has been teaching Mindfulness classes and workshops for the past 7 years. Lisa incorporates Andrew’s teachings as well as mindfulness techniques she has learned from various teachers through study and reading, including Cheri Huber, Pema Chodron, Eckhart Tolle, Larry Rosenberg, Wayne Dyer, and Louise Hay.

Lisa is also a Reiki Master/Teacher and began practicing and teaching Reiki workshops in 1999. She works as a Course Developer writing training materials for software products.
