Mary Tootikian is a 30 year veteran of the mortgage industry. She has personally underwritten and processed thousands of loans and is a respected authority on mortgage lending. She pioneered the first independent loan processing company in San Diego California and grew the company to a multi-state presence in the early 90's. Her clientele list, both with the borrowing public and lender servicers is extremely impressive. She has worked with almost every major bank including: Bank of America, Chase, Citibank, Wells Fargo, Union Bank, Washington Mutual and many others. Mary entered the world of mortgage banking in 1980 when the lending industry was respected and underwriters were still valued. She refused to participate in the subprime lending of the past decade and predicted the current economic crisis based on knowledge that loaning 100% financing to unqualified borrowers could only result in disaster. Mary now serves as the voice of reason to restore credible underwriting standards to a very broken industry.
