Mr. Chris interviews Coby Dillard, The First Afro American Member Of The Republican Conservative Tea Party In Virginia. He's a Navy veteran-6 years; OIF in 2003 and GTMO in 2005. After a stint as a contractor and federal employee in DC, His family and He now live in Norfolk, VA. He's a conservative African American; yeah, they exist. More specifically, He's an urban conservative. His community’s important to him (regardless of whether we always agree politically), and He know there’s a message for them in the conservative principles he hold dear. This is his venue for getting that message out there. It’s his soapbox…and luckily, it hasn’t crushed under my 300-plus pounds. Professionally, he's been around the block in different ways. After a couple years as a conservative activist, He's worked on Bob McDonnell’s gubernatorial campaign as a coalitions director in 2009. In 2010, He briefly campaigned for a congressional nomination in Virginia’s 3rd District before returning to the business of politics as a consultant.
