She also pens a monthly column, “Gourmet Groove,” about food, entertaining, and etiquette for the Michigan Chronicle. Her radio show of the same title was a syndicated segment on the On the Air with Russ Parr weekly radio show. The Gourmet Groove show was heard in forty-five markets and boasted 2 million listeners.

  Author and etiquette guru Curtrise Garner will autograph copies of her recently released book, "The New Rules of Etiquette" (Adamsmedia, $10.95), from 5:30-7:30 p.m tonight at a party at the Woodhouse Day Spa.

  Copies of the book will be available for sale. Appetizers will be provided by Beans & Cornbread, with aperitifs by Mahogany Tasters and New Amsterdam Gin.
