So I hit you, do I deserve JAIL??(relationships)

People lets wake up.... We are killing each other by these domestic relationships that we are choosing to be in. If you are in a commmited relationship and you get into a fight, and one of you(or both)of you are beaten so bad in which you absolutely need medical attention, Do you press charges on the person you love or do you continue to take the beaten? Who's wrong and Who's right???
