Brotha Baruti is a Jersey City native and fourth year student at Kean University whose major is in Political Science with an emphasis in International Politics and is a minor in Sociology. a meritorious Kean University Dean’s List student who was recently inducted into the Eta Sigma chapter of the Pi Sigma Alpha Honor’s Society.
Brotha Baruti Kafele has traveled to Cairo, Egypt and taken courses at the American University in Cairo and has lectured in a number of venues. Notebly at Kean University and he lectured at the annual (A.S.C.A.C.) Association for the Study of Classical African Civilizations Conference in 2011 at Howard University in Washington D.C.
The brothas a Advocate for Afrocentricity and education as well as for liberation, spiritual upheaval, social unity and political/economic interdependence among people of African descent across the diaspora.
