The April 11, 2013  program is a repeat of the March 14 program, which was not available due to technical problems.  CJP apologizes to all for the inconvenience.

Steve Corsi, Psy. D., Director, Wyoming Department of Family Services (DFS), and Dr. Marty Nelson, DFS Clinical Services Division Administrator,  will present “Trends in Youth Residential Treatment 1999-2012” on the March 14, 2013 Children’s Justice Project Permanency Series on BlogTalkRadio.  The Wyoming State Bar has approved this presentation for 1 CLE credit.

Director Corsi and Dr. Nelson will discuss research relating the length of stay in residential care to positive outcomes for youth who are placed in residential treatment centers (RTCs).  Their presentation will cover best practices in residential care including high levels of family participation and a strong focus upon discharge planning with an emphasis on community supports.
