teen suicide: We need to know

Teen suicide is on the rise!  What are we doing about it?  What can parents do?  Are parents doing enough to prevent teen suicide?  What are some of the preventative strategies.  We must do something to stop the rise.  It starts with education.  When we know better, we do better.  Parents need to step up to the plate and be willing to educate themselves.  Sometimes that means to walk a mile in their shoes.  Love, understanding, compassion and yes tough love can help.  We must be willing to commit the time to make a shift in our teen's life.
