Care: this provider's thoughts

What is care?

As a childcare provider, am I away from the premise of childcare- 'to provide care', in trying to compete with other childcare businesses for the attention of parents?

Are the "bells and whistles", field trips/photo opps, pushing these little ones into the "formalized setting" of education {lecturn style} worth removing my detail of care?
