Chiczofrenic = intentionally crazy My new coined term for purposefully schizophrenic female. I didn’t want to offend anyone in the mental health field or whose life may be impacted in some way by this illness, so I tried to take a somewhat creative approach to the word schizophrenic. My goal is to recognize that so many of us women drive ourselves crazy, intentionally, by trying to be all we can be ( and no we aren’t wanting to join the Army). I firmly believe we can have it all. A great relationship, be a great mom, keep a good house, be a career woman, follow our dreams, work out and eat right. But somewhere while trying to accomplish all this we tend to go a little nuts. Some more than others and some longer than others. I used to think I was normal. HA! What a reality check I’ve had. Normal is all relative. I ‘m sure Howard Hughes thought himself normal and being a genius of sorts the general public forgave him a lot and considered him in many ways his own kind of normal. This is my own kind of normal. Crazy but embracing it. What’s your own brand of craziness?
