Chicago Helps Haiti Media Relief Telethon

Chicago Radio is joining with other media outlets in Chicago to raise money for Haiti. Host Nicole Cabell, will be joined on the line with Haitian born Daphnee Rene and Kristin from the Chicago Red Cross. You can help by Texting "Haiti" to 90999 to send a $10 donation to the American Red Cross. Update: While on the show we talked live with Bernard in Carrefour, Haiti and the grounds started shaking from tremors beneath him. Brave and strong he continued to speak to us and seek help for his family/people who are located on the grounds of the Methodist Church by the National Cemetary. He mentioned that he was near the ocean. He thanked all of our relief efforts. We asked Kristin how she could help him. She took his info and passed it on to National Red Cross. They responded that the have received the info. We will update this post as we know more.
